HeiTech Padu Bhd has secured a contract worth RM892.19 million for the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) project by the Immigration Department of Malaysia.

The company said the contract is for studying, proposing, designing, developing, supplying, delivering, installing, testing, integrating, migrating, and synchronising data, commissioning and implementing change management, and training for the NIISe project.

The system aims to integrate the border control system under various agencies of the Home Ministry.

“The contract is for a period of 60 months commencing from Oct 18, 2024, to Oct 17, 2029,” the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

HeiTech Padu said it has to submit to the government of Malaysia a performance bond amounting to RM8.92 million not exceeding 30 days from the award’s date of acknowledgement of receipt.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024, and onwards until the completion of the contract,” it said.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing, HeiTech Padu said the trading of its shares will resume with effect from 9am this Monday (Oct 21).
