Tunku Ismail briefs Fifa president on M'sian team 'project'

Johor Regent Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim held a meeting with International Football Federation (Fifa) president Gianni Infantino yesterday (Dec 17).

The meeting was held to give a briefing regarding the Malaysian national team’s “project”.

Based on a post uploaded to Tunku Ismail’s Facebook page, the briefing was regarding a project initiated by Tunku Ismail which has received the support of the government.

“Infantino (above, left) also expressed confidence in the national initiative, which is spearheaded by the Johor regent, and agreed to provide support to Malaysia in terms of research, infrastructure and development.

“Allah blesses the sultan,” added the post.
