Senator lodges report against man who insulted Islam

Senator RA Lingeshwaran has filed a police report against a man believed to be abroad who insulted Islam in his viral video.

Without disclosing when and where the police report was made, he condemned the statement as barbaric and irresponsible.

He also pointed out that the man's statement could potentially incite religious tensions.

“No one has the right to insult any religion, race, or culture.

“We are all responsible for preserving harmony and values of decency in society,” said the DAP senator.

In the video, the man allegedly insulted the prayer practices of Muslims while condemning the actions of radio presenters who are said to have insulted Hindus.
