PAS information chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari is pouring fuel on the fire engulfing PKR.

Fadhli used complaints from incumbent PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli’s camp about irregularities in the division polls to paint PKR as a dishonest party.

“If they can cheat their own leaders to serve an internal agenda, what more the rakyat?

“Just reject this party in the next general election, it’s that simple,” he said in a Facebook post today.

He was responding to a Malaysiakini article on former Johor Bahru PKR chief Akmal Nasir lamenting that he was a victim of daylight robbery in the division polls.

While he did not elaborate on what he meant, it is a likely reference to alleged irregularities in the e-voting system during the PKR division polls, which resulted in team leaders like Akmal losing the division chief race, while the rest of their team won.

Despite the complaints, the PKR central leadership committee had decided to sign off on the division polls results in order to move on to the central polls.

However, this has not stopped Rafizi and his team from continuing to criticise the division polls results.

The infighting will come to a head this Friday when PKR delegates vote in the central leadership election.
