Malaysia’s economic growth efforts will not succeed if driven solely by economic strength, but must go hand in hand with good governance and continuous action against leakages and corruption, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said today.

He said history has shown that many countries face difficulties when corruption and abuse of power are allowed to take root, despite having ample funds, influence, and economic strength.
