Federal religious authorities have instructed all mosques and surau under their purview to hold solat hajat and recite the Qunut Nazilah for the safety of Global Sumud Flotilla activists.

This applies to all mosques and surau under the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) and the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (Jawi).
