Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has emphasised that Malaysia’s economic narrative has shifted from uncertainty to recovery and from defensive measures to proactive restructuring in the past two years.

Anwar, who is also the finance minister, said that the country's growth remains steady, inflation is contained, and unemployment is low; however, what defines success is not the comfort of stability but the readiness to confront the next disruption.
