(Editor's note: Police have since clarified that this was a statutory rape case.)

Four teenagers were arrested on Sunday over another suspected gang rape case, this time at a school in Kedah.

Baling district acting police chief Ahmad Salimi Mat Ali said a 53-year-old man had lodged a police report on Sunday after being alerted by a teacher that a compromising video of his daughter was circulating.

Harian Metro reported that police subsequently arrested the four teenagers - one of whom was a former student of the school - for suspected gang rape and the distribution of child sexual abuse material.

According to Salim, investigations found that the four suspects had committed the suspected rape multiple times at the school from May to August.

The suspects were remanded for five days beginning Sunday. Police have also seized six mobile phones.

Last week, a gang rape at a school in Malacca shocked the nation.

The 17-year-olds who committed the assault will be charged in court today.
