Seat negotiations between Pakatan Harapan and BN for the Nov 29 Sabah polls have been completed, while talks on seat distrubution between Harapan and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) will be finalised soon.

Harapan secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail confirmed the matter today.

"I can confirm that the allocation of seats between Harapan and BN has been completed.

“Harapan and GRS are now at the final stage, and as the Harapan secretary-general entrusted with this responsibility, I will finalise it soon.

"Last week I was in Kota Kinabalu to conduct these negotiations. As usual, negotiations can never be completed after just one round. Once finalised, I will inform the media,” he told a media conference at the National Drug Addiction Science Symposium 2025 in Putrajaya today.

On the possibility of three-cornered fights in the state election, Saifuddin said it was too early to make such an assumption.

The Election Commission (EC) has fixed nomination day on Nov 15 and early voting on Nov 25.
