An opposition lawmaker today urged Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to continue "reminding" US President Donald Trump that air strikes by Israeli forces have reportedly continued in Gaza despite a ceasefire deal and promise of a "comprehensive solution".

Speaking to reporters in Parliament, Kapar MP Dr Halimah Ali reiterated that she had, during debates of Budget 2026, prior to Trump's attendance at the 47th Asean Summit, delivered a stern message to end killings of Palestinians by Zionist forces.
