The Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court today fined Terengganu state executive council member and Kijal assemblyperson Razali Idris RM2,000, finding him guilty of making seditious remarks at the launch of Bersatu’s campaign machinery for the Kemaman by-election three years ago.
Bernama reported that judge Norma Ismail had imposed the sentence on the 59-year-old after ruling that the prosecution had proven its case beyond a reasonable doubt. She ordered that Razali serve a three-month jail term in default of payment.
