The mandatory requirement of Certificate of Analysis (COA) for five imported vegetables by the Agriculture and Food Security Ministry takes effect on June 1 in its latest move to tighten national food safety controls.

In a statement today, the ministry identified the five vegetables as red chillies, cucumbers, tomatoes, mustard greens (sawi), and round cabbages.
