Petaling Jaya MP Lee Chean Chung demanded an explanation from the government over his loss of access to MyKhas.
In a statement today, he stressed that his constituents have the right to know why a government MP had lost access to the portal, which is used for managing constituency development allocations, among other things.
“This provision is not for MPs. It is for the people,” Lee (above) said.

Johor polls
Umno will launch its BN election machinery for the upcoming Johor election on Sunday, Bernama reported.
The event will be held at 3.30pm at the Educity Stadium in Johor Bahru, and is expected to be attended by BN chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Johor BN chairperson Onn Hafiz Ghazi.

Johor BN chairperson and caretaker menteri besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi Johor Umno information chief Israk Abdullah urged BN supporters to turn out in droves wearing BN’s corporate blue attire.
Fuel prices
Prices of unsubsidised fuel for the coming week will be reduced between 20 and 30 sen per litre, but the Finance Ministry warns that this does not mean global fuel prices have stabilised.
It urged people to use fuel prudently, as the global fuel supply remains constrained despite the price drop.
“If the conflict (in West Asia) persists, the risk of dwindling global inventories and lack of supply could bring new pressures to crude oil and petroleum product prices in the near future,” it said.
Meanwhile, the price of RON97 petrol will be reduced by 30 sen to RM4.35 per litre, unsubsidised RON95 is reduced by 20 sen to RM3.72 per litre, and unsubsidised diesel is reduced by 20 sen to RM4.67 per litre.
Prices of subsidised fuel remain unchanged.
