The state assemblyperson for Endau in Johor has quit Bersatu to rejoin Umno.
Alwiyah Talib told a press conference that she made the decision for the good of her constituency, adding that she had come to it on her own, without the influence of other parties.
According to Sinar Harian, she resigned from all her positions in Bersatu, including as the Mersing division chief.
In 2018, she left Umno to join Bersatu.

Sabah Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation Minister James Ratib’s personal Facebook account has purportedly been hacked, Bernama reported.
He said a police report has been lodged and urged members of the public to be on alert for fraudulent attempts to use his identity.
Any official information on his ministerial duties would only be issued through official channels confirmed by his office, he added.
