Bersatu exco members in PAS-led states are expected to continue their duties as usual despite the Islamist party’s decision to terminate political cooperation between the two parties.
According to a Bersatu source, the status quo is expected to remain as PAS had formed state administrations under the Perikatan Nasional banner, which Bersatu is still a part of.

As such, the source said there is no need for Bersatu assemblypersons to tender their resignation from exco posts.
