  • Bersatu information chief Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz claimed that the removal of Radzi Jidin and Azmin Ali from key positions in Perikatan Nasional had significantly boosted PAS' representation in the coalition's supreme council while reducing Bersatu's influence.

He said that the move was carried out under the pretext of preparing for the Johor and Negeri Sembilan polls.

Tun Faisal questioned the sudden decision to convene an emergency PN supreme council meeting, noting that the coalition's leadership had previously failed to hold meetings on internal disputes, seat negotiations, and election preparations.

He also accused PAS of practising authoritarian and "dirty" politics, alleging that some within the party were pursuing complete control of PN and seeking to edge Bersatu out.
