• Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan today said he is baffled by the Zionist regime's brutality in West Asia, given the history of Jews genocide during the Second World War.

  Mohamad said the descendants of survivors of Nazi Germany's genocide are now inflicting even worse treatment on others instead of championing human rights.

  Responding to a supplementary question by Ahmad Tarmizi Sulaiman (PN-Sik) about Malaysia's efforts to pressure Israel into ending its atrocities against Palestine and Lebanon, he said Malaysia will continue to exert pressure by raising the issue at international platforms.

Yayasan Madani

• Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Armizan Ali has defended the involvement of his deputy and two aides to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Yayasan Madani, a foundation behind Putrajaya's Madani Mart initiative.

  

  During Minister's Question Time at the Dewan Rakyat this morning, Armizan said the foundation is registered as a company limited by guarantee under Section 45 of the Companies Act.

  "Under the law, there is no prohibition preventing any party, including a member of the administration, from serving on a foundation's board of trustees or a company limited by guarantee," he said.

  The minister was responding to a question by Rosol Wahid (PN-Hulu Terengganu), who raised the issue with Deputy Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Fuziah Salleh in the Madani Mart programme.
