PARLIAMENT | The government has refuted a claim that fugitive businessperson Low Taek Jho, or Jho Low, had entered the country last year for a secret negotiation to write off 1MDB-related debts.

This came during a parliamentary oral question at the Dewan Rakyat this morning, where Deputy Finance Minister Liew Chin Tong responded to Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman's (Muda-Muar) query on the matter.
