A PKR assemblyperson has ventured into territory few politicians would dare by expressing solidarity with environmental activist Shakila Zen, who is being investigated over a social media post allegedly defaming the Pahang royal institution.

Semambu assemblyperson Chan Chun Kuang said that while he respected the authorities’ right to investigate, he hoped the probe would be conducted in a fair, transparent, and professional manner to preserve public confidence in the justice system.
