• Pahang PKR will call up the organisers of an aid distribution programme to answer allegations by villagers that they were duped into registering as party members.

  State PKR secretary Zukri Aksah said they view the matter seriously and stressed that food baskets cannot be used as a means to entice or force individuals to become a PKR member.

  “The party will review procedures used during the programme, including information provided to recipients, handling of personal data, and the membership registration process through Adil and eKYC verification,” he said on Facebook yesterday.

  Zukri stressed that corrective action will be taken if non-compliance is found, while procedures for aid distribution and membership application will be strengthened to prevent similar incidents.

• Malaysians can buy three-day tickets to the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit for as low as RM200 in a special rate for MyKad holders, Bernama reported.

  The cheapest option will grant access to Hillstand G, while other MyKad rates range from RM809.60 for Hillstand B and C to RM2,083.40 for the Main Grandstand.

  

  The special rates will be subject to MyKad verification, with payments processed in Bahraini dinar based on the current exchange rate. Tickets that do not meet the eligibility requirements may be cancelled.

  Meanwhile, the Bahrain GP website said high demand from Malaysian fans had temporarily disrupted online ticket sales, adding that the organiser was working to improve the purchasing experience.
