Malaysian industrial output in June rose 7.0 percent year-on-year due to growth in all sectors, including manufacturing, electricity and mining, data showed Tuesday.

The Statistics Department said the year-on-year reflected a 9.1 percent rise in manufacturing, 2.9 percent growth in electricity, while mining was up 0.5 percent.

On a month-on-month basis, industrial output rose 1.7 percent from May.
