12th Malaysia Plan revised
The Anwar Ibrahim administration carried out a mid-term review to revise the 12th Malaysia Plan that was initially tabled by the previous Ismail Sabri Yaakob government.
The revisions encompass a broad range of issues, from corruption in the civil service, overlapping functions, political funding, bumiputera shareholdings, poverty, climate change, ‘safe’ rare earth mining, housing, and mental healthcare, among many others.
The government aims to spend at least RM90 billion from 2023 to 2025 to achieve these goals.

Umno battles over DAP
A battle is shaping within Umno over its relationship with DAP.
Supreme council member Isham Jalil is pushing for Umno to not cooperate with DAP during elections and claimed his views may cause him to get axed at the Umno supreme council meeting tonight.
Isham also wants the party to carry out a referendum among grassroots members to decide on what kind of ties to maintain with their once bitter enemies.
Fellow supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam, meanwhile, wants Isham to resign from his post if he can’t toe the party line on working with DAP.

PN mulls rally in Bukit Bintang
PN Youth is planning to go to Bukit Bintang this Saturday.
However, instead of a Malaysia Day sale, the coalition is planning to hit the streets of the shopping and tourism haven to rally against the government.
The protest against Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi having his corruption charges withdrawn was originally planned to be held in Sogo.
However, PN mulled the location change in order to accommodate more people.
They will be questioned by cops - who they are also planning to negotiate with - today.
