Can PN rescue govt bill?
The government may have a way to circumvent the threat of pesky Pakatan Harapan MPs who may vote against citizenship law amendments.
PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said that after a briefing, Perikatan Nassional MPs see the amendments as necessary, and were open to backing the proposed bill.
Not counting the six rogue MPs, PN has 68 lawmakers, which could give the Madani government two-thirds support to pass the constitutional amendments.

Sock-gate charges
A Sabahan was sentenced to six months in jail and fined RM15,000 for an anti-Islam comment in regards to the "Allah" socks fiasco.
He was charged under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act which covers misuse of network facilities.
Previously, the accused had been confronted by a mob outside the lobby of his condominium.
Meanwhile, another man, who was doxxed into apologising for a comment about the socks scandal, will also be charged under the same section today (Friday).

Spotlight on Pasti
The Labour Department is reportedly investigating PAS' network of schools and pre-schools.
This is allegedly over claims that teachers at these centres are being paid below minimum wage.
PAS Youth, however, maintained the schools are a volunteer effort, and that teachers are not employees.
The schools, which include the Pasti pre-schools, are not registered as education institutes.
