PAS opens fire on Bersatu
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang opened fire on Bersatu, saying the latter was testing the Islamist party’s patience.
He poured scorn on Bersatu’s unilateral acts, including the political coup in Perlis last year.
Hadi also indicated that PAS will be using its strong grassroots as leverage against Bersatu’s demands.
The PAS president has received support from his deputy, Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, and youth chief, Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamudden.
Bersatu has denied Hadi’s accusations, while Gerakan president Dominic Lau began warming up to the new Perikatan Nasional chief from PAS.

Is Anwar committed to unity?
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim called on Malaysians to speak up against hateful rhetoric and not be cowed by the “tyranny of the minority”.
He said the majority must speak from their conscience to save the country.
However, Anwar’s disgruntled ex-sidekick Rafizi Ramli said that Anwar himself has been guilty of letting hate fester.
Rafizi said on a KiniTV podcast that during the Allah socks controversy, Anwar took some time before speaking to Umno - suggesting that the premier was more concerned about preserving his “unity” government.
