Yet another defamation suit will be filed against pro-Umno blogger Papagomo, this time for claiming that PKR strategy director Rafizi Ramli was sacked from his previous job in Petronas due to disciplinary issues.

He said the he believes that Papagomo has the backing of top BN leaders, and facing him would also be indirectly facing BN.

NONE "A lot of people ask why do we bother with Papagomo. It is very important to know that by now that among Umno's ‘disciples', Papagomo has reached cult status.

"Worse still, in BN fully utilises Papagomo in its strategy to attack Pakatan... and he is the manifestation of the culture of smearing and slander that BN practices."

Therefore, Rafizi ( left ) said he has instructed his lawyer Razlan Jalaluddin to initiate legal proceedings against Papagomo, whose real identity is believed to be Wan Muhamad Azri Wan Deris - a former traffic police officer sacked for bribery.

An 'elusive' man

Papagomo is already facing defamation proceedings from PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim and PAS vice president Husam Musa .

Rafizi said Razlan would send Papagomo a letter of demand as soon as possible to initiate legal proceedings, but past attempts to do so had proved difficult because he had been ‘elusive'.

However, he claimed that Papagomo has to attend a custody hearing in court with his ex-wife, and the letter of demand will be handed to him there.

"As much as he has hounded people for the past four years, this time we will hound him in court... We will see him in court and serve him (notice)," he said.

When asked why sue Papagomo instead those said be the masterminds behind him, Rafizi said this would be done soon, but for now evidence is still being gathered.
