He claimed that DAP's political history proves the Chinese-dominated party never gives its blessing for Malay members to hold top positions.

He claimed that DAP's political history proves the Chinese-dominated party never gives its blessing for Malay members to hold top positions.
"I am confident that in the long run, Dyana Sofya will suffer the same fate as Tunku Abdul Aziz Ibrahim and other Malay DAP leaders whose voices are sidelined.
"In the end, they will decide to leave the party," he said, citing the Malay proverb "Habis madu, sepah dibuang" (once the sweetness is gone, what is left is thrown).
According to Puad, this is because the DAP ideology of challenging the special rights of the Malays and to oppose whatever Islamic agendas will not change.
"This will create pressure and give rise to dissatisfaction among Malays in the party," he told Umno Online today.
Puad also found it strange that some Malay leaders supported DAP despite it being racist and chauvinistic.
"I think some Malays just don't realise and don’t wish to learn from what happened to Malay leaders in DAP.
"Former DAP deputy chairperson Tunku Aziz openly said the party cannot be trusted and only gives prominence to cronies from two family dynasties, as well as to champion the cause of one race," he added.
Over the weekend, Utusan Malaysia also predicted that Dyana will quit DAP over time.
Come May 31, Dyana, who is the DAP candidate for the Teluk Intan by-election, will be facing Gerakan president Mah Siew Keong.
