All eyes are now on Sultan Sharafuddin Abdul Aziz following PKR’s announcement that party president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has been endorsed to replace Khalid Ibrahim as Selangor menteri besar.

In revealing the party's decision at a press conference held after midnight following the PKR supreme council meeting, Anwar Ibrahim stressed on the importance of a smooth transition of power.
