What is Hokkaido and what is Niseko all about?

Hokkaido is beautiful and unspoiled island located in the north of Japan, Low humidity makes the summers pleasant, while in winter you can enjoy a wide variety of winter sports. In Hokkaido there is always something happening and without doubt the island is gaining popularity as holiday destination, where you can live and experience the four seasons first hand.

Niseko is located in the southwestern part of Hokkaido, in an alpine region that is dominated by Mt. Yotei to the east and Mt Annupuri to the west. In Niseko there are a comprehensive variety of ways to really enjoy the outdoors, no matter who you are there are options to suit just about everyone. Whether you want to ski or snowboard the famous and plentiful powder snow or raft the rapids of the local rivers, cycle the roads that crisscross the district. Capture the splendor of the Autumn's changing colors or simply indulge in art to some pretty spectacular foods. You will find it in Niseko.

About MY ecolodge

MY ecolodge is due to open in October 2015 and is a designer inspired hostel, suiting savvy budget conscious travellers, without compromising on style and comfort. My ecolodge aims to provide guests with a modern, clean and safe environment in which, guests from all over the world can truly call home when they stay in Niseko.

MY ecolodge is designed to be Environmentally friendly and many eco attributes have been incorporated into the properties design and delivery of services, ensuring the beautiful nature that Niseko is so well known for stays green into the future. 

MY ecolodge introduces the Niseko lifestyle to guests and the staff ensure that the guests are able to get out and connect with nature, through activities close to their heart. Well trained staff are on hand to assist guests, providing local knowledge and introducing new experiences and ways to really enjoy everything that Niseko has to offer.

MY ecolodge also aim to bring entertainment into the hostel as well. Events that guests can participate in ranging from live music to Eco friendly initiatives and  a variety of different activities will be on offer making the guests stay even more enjoyable.
