
One year has passed since the launching of Kinohimitsu Superfood Cookbook on 24 October 2016. Today, Kinohimitsu Malaysia presents a cheque of RM100,000 to IJN Foundation, fulfilling its pledge to raise fund for this charity organization. The check is presented by The Executive Director of Kino Biotech, Mr Marcus Chong Ka Min, to the chairman of IJN Foundation, Toh Puan Datuk Seri Dr Hajjah Aishah Ong.
The contribution are proceeds from the sales of Kinohimitsu Superfood Cookbook which were sold at all Watson’s outlets, Lazada Online platform and Kinohimitsu very own online store. The amount will be used to fund treatments and surgeries of needy heart patients of Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) as well as the researches done by the specialists.
The cookbook, which was a philanthropic collaboration between
Kinohimitsu Malaysia and Dietetics and Food Services Department of IJN offers 18 nutritious and balanced recipes, all prepared using Kinohimitsu Superfood. Besides aiming to raise funds, this cookbook also seeks to promote the message that healthy heart and healthy lifestyle begins with a healthy meal.
Following the launch of the cookbook, Kinohimitsu Malaysia has also collaborated with IJN in other occasions, such as health program on national radio station and IJN Run. In addition to this, Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) has also included Kinohimitsu Superfood as part of every patient’s daily meal consumption. The supply of this healthful beverage has been the kind sponsorship of Kinohimitsu Malaysia.
