100 Blueair Classic Units to UMMC
‘We understand the urgency of the situation, and while our frontliners are working hard and doing their best to fight the virus, we would like to help in the best way that we can”, said Visionary Solutions’ Executive Director, Ms Lim Pei Yan.
On Friday, the 24th of April 2020, Visionary Solutions, the sole distributors of Blueair air purifiers in Malaysia donated 100 units of their product, the Blueair Classic, worth RM188,800 to the University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) in the continued effort to contain the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Unlike regular air purifiers that boasts dense HEPAfilters, Blueair products work differently. Citing the rationale that dust particles will merely reroute around the obstruction imposed by thick filters, Blueair products instead opt for the utilisation of a less dense filters but still be able to filter efficiently using a patented HEPASilent™ technology.
As such, the Blueair air purifiers function like an air vacuum of sorts. Drawing the impurities from air into the machine and ionizing the particles that will cause them to voluntarily stick to the surfaces of the filter within the purifiers. This is how the the patented HEPASilent™ Technology works in their air purifiers.

Having discussed with the UMMC personnel, the most strategic placements of the “World’s Standards No.1 Air Purifier” within the building were determined. The air purifiers were then set up in areas that will allow them to operate at their optimum; five to six cycles of cleaned air within an hour.
“We hope that the frontliners and the patients will feel more comfortable knowing that Blueair is cleaning the air around them efficiently”, said aptly by Ms Lim Pei Yan.
