Durio has donated 32,500 pieces, total 13 cartons of Patriotic themed Prihatin face masks to MERCY Malaysia in supporting frontline medical staff and vulnerable groups, the face masks were handed over to Encik Radzi, representative of MERCY Malaysia on 14 Jan 2021.
Durio initiated the “One For One Mask Relief Campaign” in November 2020 to support MERCY Malaysia. For every box of Durio Patriotic themed face masks (Prihatin and I Love My) sold at Durio's official online store on Shopee and Lazada, Durio donated one Box of Prihatin Patriotic Surgical Face Mask to MERCY Malaysia, and the campaign ended at 31st December 2020.
This charitable act is mainly to encourage the public to participate in supporting the frontliners, to express our gratitude for their hard work and contribution during the epidemic. Now that COVID-19 outbreak is getting severe, Malaysia has entered MCO, CMCO and RMCO status, the protective equipment for frontline medical staff is in urgent need and the medical system is on the verge of paralysis. We call on the public to strictly abide by the SOP and everyone is responsible for epidemic prevention.
Due to the severe epidemic, Durio takes the lead to contribute to the society and launching a patriotic campaign, allow the people to have the best protection and comfortable surgical face mask with the most affordable price. Durio Prihatin patriotic face mask promotion is launched on January 18, and now sell at RM15 per box, original price is RM29.90. Prihatin face masks can obtain at Durio official online store. Besides, Durio also urges other companies and parties to participate in support activities and donate face masks to charities.
