The largest home improvement retailer, MR.DIY slashes prices to help Malaysians head back to school

With the recent announcement from the Ministry of Education (MOE), schools are starting to reopen soon. The largest home improvement retailer, MR.DIY is here to help Malaysian parents get their children school ready with various school supplies.

MR.DIY wants to assist parents stretch their Ringgit by offering more than 100 school products on discounts of up to 40% in all its stores. This way, parents are able to save more during these unprecedented times with good quality and value for money school products.

Known for its tagline 'Always Low Prices', MR.DIY is lowering prices to make it affordable where parents can shop smartly and safely. MR.DIY offers a wide range of products from school shoes to socks, lunch bags to lunch boxes, and even drinking bottles to school stationery. Parents can also purchase school shoes for their children from as low as RM2.00.

While the nation is still battling the Covid-19 pandemic, MR.DIY understands parents’ concerns regarding the safety of their children upon returning to school. Therefore as a responsible retailer, essential items such as hand sanitizers, hand wipes and face masks are also on discount for parents to purchase at affordable prices.

This discount offer will be available from February 24th till March 7th in all MR.DIY stores nationwide making it convenient for parents across Malaysia.

According to the MOE’s announcement, Pre-School, Standards 1 and 2 are reopening on March 1st while Standards 3 to 6 are reopening on March 8th.

Meanwhile secondary schools are reopening for Group A (Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, & Terengganu) on April 4th and for Group B (Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Pulau Pinang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan, & Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya) on April 5th.
