Kopetro Travel & Tours, a subsidiary wholly-owned by Koperasi Kakitangan PETRONAS Berhad, announced that the international network of corporate travel experts, WIN Global Travel Network, has been renamed The Advantage Global Network. As part of the WIN Global Travel Network agent, Kopetro Travel & Tours now becomes an affiliate agent of The Advantage Global Network, with immediate effect.

The name change was announced, in London on the 30th September 2021 at the Business Travel Show Europe, by Julia Lo Bue-Said, CEO of The Advantage Travel Partnership, the UK’s largest independent travel agent and travel management company. Global Travel Network back in 2017 and had been involved with the business for many years prior to that. The network has flourished with partners now covering 6,000 locations in 81 countries globally.

John Hobbs-Hurrell formerly head of WIN Global Travel Network and now Head of The Advantage Global Network said: “The rebrand will help to create a wider reach and drive additional opportunities exposure to our international partners who will find, through the increased brand exposure, more engagement with Advantage Global Business Travel members bringing about new opportunities and prospects available to them. The network will continue to provide a connected community of TMCs around the world, which we will continue to focus on and grow following the rebrand.”

The Advantage Global Network is an international network of corporate travel experts (partners). It is a global ecosystem of like-minded TMCs, with an annual collective spend of £12 billion. The Advantage Global Network partners are present in 81

countries at more than 6,000 locations, and have the scope to share knowledge and best practice between these corporate travel experts around the world.

The Advantage Global Network was formerly known as WIN Global Travel Network. Advantage Travel Partnership is the UK’s largest independent travel agent and travel management company partnership, with an annual collective spend of £4.5bn in the UK.

All of the Advantage Global Business Travel TMC members are independently owned and are experts in every aspect of the travel industry. Hence, Advantage Global Network is now the majority shareholder in the formerly known WIN Global Travel Network.
