The final-year Diploma in Mass Communication students from IACT College will be organizing a virtual event called "Space Creatives” on the 3rd of December which will be held on a platform called “Gather Town” from 9 am - 6 pm, in efforts to nurture the talents of future generations of the creative industry.

Given the name “The New NRML”, a collaboration of diverse talents, was created in 2020 to stimulate connectedness in the midst of a global pandemic. This time around, "The New NRML" has returned with "Space Creatives” which will exclusively feature the works of up-and-coming talents of the creative industry.

This virtual event will be hosted on a digital platform called Gather Town, an upcoming application that presents a new way of gathering together like one would in real life. Built around fully customizable spaces, the virtual event space also centres around the concept of 8-bit which evokes feelings of nostalgia.

Seminars by new industry players such as Shermaine Wong and Ivor Xian Z will join the event as speakers to talk about their experiences and how anyone can thrive in the creative industry that has been evolving for the past few years.

Student exhibitions and Mini-Games will also be held around the map while the event is ongoing to embrace change by presenting this event as part of "The New NRML" endeavour to bring the thrills of entertainment to the comfort of one's own home.
