Breaking New Ground: 24th SEACare 2024 Sets the Stage for Healthcare and Pharma Advancements

The long-running Southeast Asian Healthcare & Pharma Show (SEACare) is on track to become the region’s leading platform for local healthcare companies to forge strategic alliances and gain access to international markets.

SEACare, which was first organised over two decades ago and has since attracted thousands of exhibitors to Malaysia, is now under the stewardship of Qube Integrated Sdn Bhd (Qube), one of the country's leading conference and meeting organisers. This year’s expo boasts participation from over 100 companies across 10 countries, including UK, Denmark and China.For the first time, companies from Iran and Latvia will also be showcasing their offerings, opening doors to new avenues for expansion into emerging markets.

SEACare 2024 promises a valuable experience for visitors. Highlights include a business matching programme organised by MATRADE, industry knowledge-sharing sessions covering critical topics like case studies of successful healthcare collaborations, navigating regulatory frameworks, and insightful talks delivered by policymakers and healthcare leaders. Among the speakers are Prof. Dr. Rosnah Binti Mohd Zain, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of MAHSA University, Datuk Dr. Kuljit Singh, President of the Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia (APHM), Dr. Muralitharan Paramasua, Chief Executive of Medical Device Authority Malaysia (MDA), Ms. Harpreet Kaur, Executive Director of Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS), Dr. Koh Kar Chai, Past President of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), and many more.

Malaysia’s Minister of Health YB Datuk Seri Dr. Haji Dzulkefly Ahmad said, “I urge all industry stakeholders to participate in SEACare 2024. Aside from discovering and showcasing the latest products and services, learning from the knowledge-sharing sessions, achieving business matching and establishing new networking or rekindling existing networking, there are also plenty of opportunities to form strategic alliances, to collaborate and innovate leading to greater growth for businesses.”

Qube has big plans and envisions SEACare to be the premier trade exposition in Southeast Asia for healthcare and pharmaceutical. Qube’s Executive Chairman Mr Richard Teo shared, “We envision SEACare as the region’s premier expo for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. We would like industry leaders and experts across the world to gather here to exchange insights and collaborate toward the advancement of the healthcare industry.”

Visitors will have the opportunity to network with officers from government agencies namely the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA), the MDA as well as MATRADE in their respective booths to access first hand information with ease.

SEACare 2024 will be held at Hall 5, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 17 to 19 April 2024.
