As part of Allianz General’s EV Shield coverage, the EV Charging On-the-Go service has been a game-changer for EV owners since its launch. The first of its kind in the industry, this service provides a 15-minute on-the-spot fast charge, offering a travel range of up to 50km to the nearest charging facility and ensuring peace of mind for EV drivers in unexpected situations.
The service has been well received since its inception, with the number of cases managed increasing progressively each year and early uptake continuing into the current year.
Starting 2026, Allianz General has expanded the service beyond the Klang Valley to Penang, Kuantan and Johor Bahru, making it more accessible to EV owners nationwide.
Allianz General’s Windscreen Replacement On-the-Go service has been another standout offering, providing customers the convenience of having their cracked and damaged car windscreen replaced or repaired at their preferred location without requiring lengthy documentation.
All customers need to do is call 1800-22-5542 and Allianz-branded service cars will be dispatched to their location of choice within an hour. The service also utilises genuine glass replacements and comes with a lifetime warranty.
Since the introduction of the Windscreen Replacement On-the-Go service, Allianz General has supported hundreds of cases nationwide each year, reflecting strong demand. Customer feedback has been highly encouraging, with the overwhelming majority of customers expressing satisfaction with the service.
With the EV Charging On-the-Go and Windscreen Replacement On-the-Go services, Allianz General continues its commitment to innovation and customer-centricity, setting new benchmarks for service excellence.
