The impressive four-award haul celebrates TGCR’s excellence across golf, lifestyle, dining, family recreation and sustainability, underscoring the Resort’s continued commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for its members and guests.
On 30 July 2026, TGCR was honoured at The BrandLaureate Lifestyle BestBrands Awards 2026, winning Excellence in Leisure – Luxury Golf & Lifestyle Resort. The recognition marked TGCR’s return to the prestigious BrandLaureate winners’ circle following its previous win in 2016.
Significantly, TGCR was the only Malaysian golf club recognised at this year’s awards, further strengthening its position within the country’s competitive golf and lifestyle landscape.
Just over a week later, TGCR continued its winning streak at the Tourism Industry Awards 2026 (TIA26) on 8 August 2026, securing three additional accolades:
• Best Family Oriented Golf Club
• Best Golf Lifestyle Restaurant - Twenty7 Restaurant
• Best ESG Excellence Award for Golf Club
The Best ESG Excellence Award for Golf Club represents another milestone for TGCR. Introduced for the first time at the Tourism Industry Awards, the new category saw TGCR emerge as its inaugural recipient, recognising the Resort’s commitment to integrating sustainability and responsible practices into its operations. Collectively, the four awards showcase TGCR’s holistic approach to the modern golf resort experience- extending beyond championship golf to encompass hospitality, dining, recreation, family experiences, events, sports, wellness and sustainability.
