In 2023 Prem Rawat achieved two Guinness World Records for attendance at his events, most recently on November 26, 2023 in Gaya, India when 375,603 people gathered for his lecture on understanding the value of life.

About Prem Rawat
A lifetime devoted to peace
Born in India in 1957, Prem gave his first public address on the subject of peace at age four. He went on to tour India with his father, where he spoke to thousands of people.
In 1971, at age 13, he made his first visit to the West, arriving in London where he spoke at the world-renowned Glastonbury music festival. He continued to the US that same year where he eventually settled.
Addressing crowds of up to 500,000 people, what had begun as a school holiday developed into a life-long journey to help people discover and practice peace. Today, Prem has spent over 50 years travelling the world, speaking in more than 455 cities, and addressing live audiences totalling hundreds of millions.
Prem Rawat embraces creativity and cutting-edge technology, especially when it furthers his work. He is an inventor, musician, artist, photographer, poet, and a highly accomplished pilot with 15,000 hours of flying time. To fulfill his vision, he maintains a demanding travel schedule, attending on average 60 speaking engagements across the globe every year.
Prem is married and has four adult children and four grandchildren.
Helping humanity
Prem Rawat founded The Prem Rawat Foundation in 2001. Its mission: to address the fundamental human needs of food, water and the often-overlooked need for peace.
The award-winning Food For People programme in India, Nepal and Ghana has transformed entire communities.
Prem created the Peace Education Programme (PEP), which is taught in prisons; in countries ravaged by war; in veteran centres and in hospitals in over 85 countries around the world. From the townships of South Africa to the battle fields of Sri Lanka, from the war torn jungles of Colombia to the prisons of India. PEP has reached all walks of life including those marginalised by society and conflict, and inspiring participants to experience real personal peace.
International recognition
Prem Rawat’s work has been acknowledged by governments, NGOs, business organisations, and other civic groups around the world.
He has spoken at parliaments from UK to New Zealand, and prestigious educational institutions such as Harvard and Oxford Universities.
In 2011 Prem Rawat was the keynote speaker at a special event at the European Union, hosted by the then First Vice-President of the European Parliament. The event was attended by a large international delegation of EU politicians and VIPs who came together to sign the first Pledge to Peace Declaration. Prem Rawat, as the first signatory, was named ambassador for the Declaration.

Prem Rawat offers a practical way to experience the peace he talks about. He shares his message with millions around the world through books, trainings, web content, media appearances, and press coverage, and, above all, his live events and speaking engagements.
In 2023 alone Prem Rawat has spoken to over 775 million people across all media, including TV, print and radio.
Prem Rawat has flown over 4.78 million miles to attend over 5600 events in 455 cities in 65 Countries.
