IMU Healthcare marked a milestone year in 2025, recording significant growth across service expansion, community impact, and integrated healthcare delivery — reinforcing its role as a trusted, multi-disciplinary healthcare provider in Malaysia.

Throughout the year, IMU Healthcare strengthened its clinical ecosystem through the introduction and expansion of key specialised services. Mental health emerged as a major focus, with the successful rollout of structured Mental Health Workshops, complemented by a high-impact national collaboration with Malaysiakini’s Mind Matters Rally. This initiative significantly elevated public awareness on mental well-being while positioning IMU Healthcare as an active contributor to Malaysia’s mental health advocacy landscape.
In parallel, IMU Healthcare launched a Zakat-Funded Healthcare Programme, enabling greater access to essential medical and dental services for underserved communities. The initiative achieved tangible results, notably expanding access to care for underserved groups, including the deaf community. This milestone underscores IMU Healthcare’s unwavering commitment to delivering inclusive and equitable healthcare for all.
From an institutional and corporate perspective, 2025 also saw a notable increase in Third-Party Administrator (TPA) utilisation, underscoring growing confidence from insurers and corporate partners in IMU Healthcare’s clinical standards, governance, and service reliability.
Clinical capabilities were further strengthened with the introduction of Rheumatology and ENT services, followed by a strategic expansion into surgical-based services, enhancing IMU Healthcare’s ability to provide comprehensive care — from early diagnosis and specialist consultation to definitive treatment and intervention.
Beyond clinical services, IMU Healthcare actively delivered corporate wellness programmes, community outreach initiatives, and targeted health awareness campaigns, reaching diverse population segments including working professionals, families, and vulnerable groups. These efforts reaffirm IMU Healthcare’s belief that sustainable healthcare impact must extend beyond clinical settings.
“We have a whole team of healthcare professionals looking after you. We integrate medical services with traditional and complementary medicine. IMU Healthcare aims to be known as a centre that provides personalised multiprofessional care within a primary care setting, sustaining your health for life,” said Professor Dr Nazimah Idris, Medical Director, IMU Healthcare and Clinical Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Anchored by a multidisciplinary, integrated care model, IMU Healthcare continued to advance key focus areas such as mental health, metabolic and weight management, neurodivergent health, musculoskeletal and pain management, integrative care, dental services, and surgical support — ensuring coordinated and patient-centred care across the health continuum.

As IMU Healthcare moves forward, the organisation remains committed to continuous improvement, strategic partnerships, and innovation — with a clear focus on expanding access, improving outcomes, and delivering meaningful healthcare impact for the communities it serves.
