The former Terengganu menteri besar is not making many friends in the Youth section, judging from the views of those unhappy with the way he manages the party.

Former PAS (now Umno) members have gone on the offensive against the opposition party in its strongholds of Kelantan and Terengganu. At a recent ceramah (political talk), they hit out aggressively at PAS policies.

Umno made an allegation. PAS did not deny it. So it is true after all, that Thai nationals have been voting in Malaysia's general elections. The issue is a serious one — 20,000 voters is a big number. The Election Commission must probe the matter. Meanwhile, the war of words between Umno and PAS on the issue continues...

Opposition parties in Kelantan are moving to frame their protests against the Election Commission's proposals for a fresh redelineation exercise. The public will have until Sept 8 to register their objections or feedback.
