I refer to the Malaysiakini report Six in court for insulting sultan, one fined RM10,000 .

Outrageous! Six bloggers were charged for insulting the Sultan of Perak! A true massacre of the rakyat’s freedom of speech!

Is this the sign for the return of the Mahathir era? Is this the omen for the comeback of Operation Lalang? Fifty-two years, it’s already 52 years! We have not experienced even the least bit of improvement in our democracy!

Politicians, civil right activists, bloggers, etc., are arrested simply because of their anti- government behavior. But indeed, these people are just fighting for a better Malaysia! Who are the real dregs of the society?

Those detained because of being too vocal in fighting for improvement or those in power because of being too ‘protective’ or worse, too afraid of the real voice of the rakyat?

Talking of insulting the sultan, has anyone ever wondered why the ones who stripped the royals of their immunity were not arrested? Wasn’t that amendment a greater insult to the sultan if compared to a criticism or a plea for upholding justice?

My call to the BN - be truthful. Malaysians aren’t goons as Umno thinks. We can tell the difference between dishonoring the sultan and dishonoring Umno.

If indeed the charges are due to insulting the sultan, what didn’t we see any action taken toward the Umno members for their chosen word to ‘animalise’ the Terengganu’s sultan? Wasn’t that a greater humiliation?

Since when did fighting for the constitution become a crime? Could this ‘crime’ be worse than mobbing a member of Parliament? Could this ‘crime’ be worse than sending two bullets to a member of Parliament? Can’t they see the difference between a verbal criticism and a threat to life?

How did our ruling party justify their arrest of a journalist when she was only doing her job to report a racist’s speech? How did they interpret their action of blindfolding and severely beating the former deputy prime minister of the country?

How did they defend the police who physically attacked and starved a young Indian till he was dead? Aren’t all these actions the real insult to the millions and millions of Malaysians who uphold justice?

Which one is more humiliating here – a plea to the sultan for dissolving the state assembly so the citizens could elect their preferred government or the actions of expelling the elected state assembly persons from their offices and even closing the state secretariat buildin just to stop them from having an assembly?

A complete corruption of the executive, judicial, and legislative powers in Malaysia! An undoubtedly ‘Malaysia Boleh’!

All the atrocities that this bizarre government has brought upon the country should be criticised by anyone with a conscience. I really wonder how the very same people who attack the citizens are able to say their prayers?

Would not those in power realise that the victims of their outrageous actions also have someone who cares for them? What if the victims were their own sons and daughters who got beaten to death? Aren’t all these actions truly disgracing the sultan who represents the sonstitution of the nation?

Undoubtedly, we should respect the sultan. But there is the constitution that is above everyone.

Really, I do not see how these corrupted leaders are able to defend themselves when they face God one day.

Do we need to teach them money and power isn’t everything? They better change now or the punishment is for sure waiting for them.
