I stand to be corrected, but I agree with what I perceive Allen's message to be - regardless of whether Team A or Team B wins, nothing is going to change for the majority of Chinese Malaysians.

MCA no longer champions the rights of the Chinese Malaysian. The party is only good to its own members and its few favoured friends and families.

Perhaps Zongren assumes that all Chinese Malaysians are MCA members, therefore we might stand to benefit from one team beating the other.

To most of us, the MCA, as mentioned by Allen, is no more than a "running dog" obeying the whims of its master.

If you want a real David versus Goliath story, try the farmers in Perak who are being evicted; or the pig farmers in Bukit Pelanduk who have not been allowed to reopen their pig farms nor relocate. Many have given up on expecting help from the MCA which has sold itself for personal gains.

What has either team done for the benefit of the Chinese Malaysian as a whole - without expecting them to support MCA? Even on the Islamic state issue, MCA was subservient to the "hand that feeds it".

So in conclusion, I am not concerned with which team wins. I choose to join another party, which has the will and conscience to do what is right.
