I read with interest the statement by Keadilan that it is trying to get MCA life member Dr Por Choo Chor to be its candidate for the Indera Kayangan by-election.

Two things come to mind when I consider the Keadilan action.

First, what sort of party is Keadilan when it needs to get someone from another party to be its election candidate? It's simply a party with no principles! There must be some sort of rules in the party that only its members can represent it in public. If a non-member can be asked to represent it in such an important matter, then something is certainly very wrong with the party.

Secondly, if the doctor, a life member of MCA, accepts the Keadilan invitation to contest under its banner, he is certainly not someone worth supporting. If he can betray his own party, he certainly lacks credibility and integrity.

I hope Keadilan is not so bankrupt of good people among its members.

Remember when politicians in Sabah started hopping from one party to another, Keadilan was among those very loud in their condemnation.

The Keadilan move to entice Por from the MCA is not much different from that of the Sabah politicians.

I, for one, have certainly lost my respect for the party.
