I strongly disagree with the suggestion made by Chin that Keadilan should invite DAP leaders to speak in ceremah (political talks) with "specialised" topics and issues ( Invite DAP leaders to speak at ceramah

, Jan 9 ) .

Win or lose the by-election, Keadilan should learn to stand on its own feet on the Chinese ground without being dependent on DAP which has shown itself to be unreliable and too self-centered.

There are now many young and educated Chinese leaders and activists in Keadilan. They should be given the opportunity and test to expose and project themselves to the Chinese community as their leaders.

Keadilan must develop its own Chinese leadership, machinery, members and support base so that DAP will not look down on it as a 'baby' anymore.

Keadilan must show that it can do what DAP has failed to do in the past 35 years: be a strong and comprehensive multi-ethnic opposition party that reaches every corner of Malaysia.
