The backdrop of all the issues which the country is facing are signs of a revolution brewing.

Is the government of the day adopting a message of ‘all or nothing,' meaning that they want everything or else they are even prepared to ruin this country?

Ruin they have already done to a very great extent, for big buildings, crooked bridges, new townships and the abundance of universities without the all-important ingredient called, ‘integrity' does not a nation make.

The BN, in particular Umno, Najib Abdul Razak and all Muslims in this country have to be aware of this.

Why, one only has to look beyond at Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria and see if there is a role model of an Islamic nation we can follow.

Under the guiding principles laid by our founding father Tunku Abdul Rahman and even Onn Jaafar, they envisioned a secular Malaysia with Islam as the official religion - a concept that would have actually lifted the image of Islam throughout the entire world.

We, instead, decided to go along the way of Pakistan and other terror-ridden Islamic states to create a state of confusion amongst not only the Muslim populace but more so against the non - Muslims.

This with a brand of Islam that has preached hate and distrust amongst our own fellow Malaysians, to the extent that the other Malaysians have a fear for the religion and choose to keep away from it. What a disgrace.

The truth is hidden so brazenly, unfair justice is meted out, there is unfair distribution of wealth, indifference towards our workers that we even deny them a minimum wage, a corrupt and conniving government, a corrupt judiciary and a criminal police force is what this country has to offer today.

Is this the model Islamic country this country wants to portray to the entire world?

Nay, there lies in this government murderers, thieves and opportunists and the most corrupt of this land use Islam as their wall to shield their wrongdoings from the ordinary citizens, and they seem to be doing so successfully.

The real Islamic voices and other noble Islamic men and women are scorned upon as betrayers of religion and race. What race? Aren't we all Malaysians, or is the ‘Islamic Malaysian' a different race? That seems to be the direction we are moving in.

In a country void of an independent and clean judiciary, a fair and people-oriented police force and a clean government only one thing is certain - chaos and damage. Irreparable damage to all institutions of government and the only result could be a lawlessness and a failed nation.

Is this the nation we want? For the direction this nation takes is not in the hands of the Dewan Rakyat but in the hands of the rakyat for that is why it is called the Dewan Rakyat.

It is our Dewan and it is we who make the decisions through the men and women we elect to represent us.

The four or five-year circle does not have to be waited out as was in the case of Thailand and Indonesia. If we want this country to turn out for the better we, the rakyat, have to get it moving.

The question is when?
