I refer to the Malaysiakini report Guan Eng slams PAS' hypocrisy and 'Can't run with hares and hunt with hounds' .

DAP is showing anger to the 'unity talk' idea of the PAS president. But indeed, DAP has done such 'unity talks' with Gerakan and MCA members in the past. Do you remember how Lee Kah Choon left Gerakan to head Invest Penang?

If DAP did not hold 'unity talks' with this ex-Gerakan deputy secretary-general, how did they convince him to join Invest Penang? Who is hypocritical now?

Lim Guan Eng, Lim Kit Siang, Karpal Singh are all now jumping up and down and even trying to give ultimatums to PAS by saying DAP cannot be patient forever. What a joke.

If PAS really wanted to join Umno, they would have done a long time ago in Selangor, Perak, Kedah, and Kelantan. The fact is they have rejected outright such cooperation in Selangor and Perak. Do you realise that?

Many PAS top guns themselves are cynical about their president's idea. These include Nik Aziz, Husam Musa, Nizar, Mahfuz, etc. In PAS, they are democratic and allowed to have differences among themselves. They are still in the process of articulating the idea, so let them decide.

Will you be happy if PAS were to interfere DAP's affairs? No, right? So respect others if you want to gain respect! By the way, PAS already had has bad experiences with Umno in the past. They must have learnt their bitter lesson when they were once together.

So DAP, if you use simple logic, do you think this 'unity talk' thing with Umno will be fruitful? Umno is harping on the issue but in the PAS circles, there is a lot of disagreement to the idea.

Yet, DAP is adding salt to the wound. What kind of partner are you?

Back to Penang issues. Guan Eng, you barred Utusan Malaysia from covering your state's events. Where is the freedom of press you were championing? Forgotten or are you hypocritical? Guan Eng, how much have you helped the poor Malays in your state? How much have you narrowed the income gap?

Islam is the official religion in Malaysia. How much has your state have done for the cause of Islam? Well, you are in power in Penang because the Malays also voted for you. If you are arrogant to PAS and have not done much for the Malays and the Islamic cause, I don't think the Malays will be voting for you again.

It will be better for them to support Gerakan or MCA. At least they get along with Umno. Am I threatening you? Nope, it's just a reminder on where you come from. Hope you will learn this lesson before it is too late.

Kit Siang, you name this 'unity talks' as 'Pakatan's confidence crisis'. So what is the label you want to give for your actions towards Sultan Azlan Shah's choice Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin as the menteri besar of Perak in the early days after 2008 general elections?

What is the label you want to give to the former DAP Jelapang state assembly person for jumping ship? That was not a 'Pakatan confidence crisis'? Why did you never utter such a thing before?

I personally think that you have an inbuilt hatred towards PAS. That's why you utter such comments. Look how good the PAS man Nizar turned out to be - the very person you objected to.

If Anwar Ibrahim becomes the prime minister, I will support Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin as the deputy prime minister. Thanks Umno, for promoting this man!
