I refer to the recent canning of a model who drank beer. All praise to the authorities for upholding the law.

However, I would like to remind them, if they want to uphold the law, please do so completely. Do not make one victim a scapegoat whilst thousands of others get away scott free.

It is no secret that if one goes to any pub, club, disco, bar, dangdut, one can see countless Muslims drinking the night away on either beer or hard liquor.

Why aren't the authorites doing something about this? Don't these people also deserve to be canned? The authorities need not even have to conduct a raid,

Just walk into any pub, club, disco or bar and you can easily catch countless Muslims drinking alcohol. And some consume hard liquor by the bottles.

Also, walk into any 4-digit gambling outlet anytime of the day, and you'll Muslims punting or gambling despite a prominent notice on shops which states: "Judi adalah salah di sisi Islam,".

Walk into those 4 digit gambling shops during peak hours, between 6pm to 7pm, and one can see a big line of Muslims buying and punting numbers.

Why aren't the authorities doing anything about this? Surely these people also need to be canned.

To make matters worse, during Bulan Puasa, one can see the same beeline of Muslims punting numbers. And everyone knows that during Bulan Ramadhan, it is dosa 10 kali ganda.

But sadly the authorities don't do anything about this.

So how come the authorities have come down hard on this model who drank beer? Please don't be hypocrites and just nab one or two people and make a mockery of the laws of the country.

I'm quite confident that despite this article being published, our discos, pubs, clubs, dangduts, bars would still be patronised by Muslims.

So, I appeal to the enforcement officers, if you are sincere about upholding the law, do so with dedication and make frequent checks.
