In July 2009, I moved from an apartment in Taman Sri Sentosa (6th mile Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur) to a double storey house in OUG (5th mile Klang Lama).

On July 28, 2009 I went to TM Point (a TM service centre) at PJ new town near MPPJ to advise them of the change of address and also requested a change of Streamyx to the new address.

I had to choose a new phone number, although I would have preferred to keep the previous number for my business needs.

The TM representative explained that the old number would be terminated (forgot to ask when).

On July 29, the phone contractor promptly came by to set up the line and I quickly advised that all my business contacts be directed to the new number.

I called up TM Streamyx and was given a report number: 1-4-83434 3856. By Aug 4, I still could not get the Streamyx connection.

I called TM to complain and a new report number 1-4-842784593 was given, with excuse that the previous report number was linked to my old phone at Taman Sri Sentosa!

By Aug 10, there was still no Streamyx line. The next morning (Aug 11), my phone line went dead. I reported the faulty line to TM at about noon. Twenty-four hours later, still no dial tone.

I called up TM representative who took my complaint and was unable get details of the repair status, but was posed the standard question: Is your Streamyx is working?!!!

Meanwhile, my old phone number at Taman Sri Sentosa is STILL NOT disconnected after nearly 15 days ( I called that number on my handphone and there is a clear ringing tone with no TM voice mail advisory that the phone been disconnected).
