It seems fishy to me that the so-called residents of Section 23 were so well prepared and equipped for the now infamous cow-head demonstration.

Look at the professionally printed banners - cost quite a few ringgit a piece, I should think.

Look at the cordless mike - I was suitably impressed when I viewed the video. No messy wires but a cordless mike!

And, finally the piece-de-resistance, the cow head itself - must have needed some planning to secure that.

Move on to the dialogue. Look at the loutish behaviour. Look at the thuggishness. Did these people come to talk?

I have quite a few Malay friends and I cannot imagine any of them behaving like that at a meeting convened for their interests.

Brandishing a chair at the MB? Very alien to the sopan ways of the peaceful Malay culture, methinks.

So, fellow Malaysians, shall we all take a step back from the two incidents and stop jumping on our Malay neighbours and fellow countryfolk?

The shameful behaviour is the work of a few. Who they are and what their real motivation is begs asking. Let's not allow them to incite further anger and hatred.

We must close ranks - to borrow a favourite phrase - and stay united in our wish for a better Malaysia.
