Delivery not being delivered at all
The rakyat has have had enough of all the political affairs or issues including the backstabbing of each other within the parties. We need a result-oriented government which can deliver, care and protect the rakyat and strengthen our economy.
The government is spending so much of their time and the taxpayer's funds on handling political affairs. The same goes with the authorities like the police and the MACC etc, who can't cope with the political happenings. Take for instance the recent by-election in Negeri Sembilan.
How much money and manpower (for the police and the local councils) was involved. Almost half of our daily local news is about political issues or ‘warfare’ which is a clear picture of the government’s delivery system.
The feeling now is like we are always stuck in a city ‘traffic jam’ where we actually spend five hours in the jam and three hours on real productive work in our daily working life. We need a government which can deliver without spending so much time on handling political affairs or warfare.
They shouldn't focus on political issues and then ignore or bury their heads with regards to the rakyat's needs. It's the rakyat who voted for the government to govern the country - they did not vote for a government to handle political affairs excessively.
I have my reservations and frustrations on the ‘1Malaysia, People First’ policy including the current delivery system. Please have an independent Key Performance Index (KPI) done and gauge the results. Why does the government have the KPI implemented in the first place when no action is taken to improve the delivery system?
We don't need ministries, government agencies and authorities who ignore the rakyat's needs and complaints. When my family suffered and need protection or action, my complaints to the ministries, agencies and authorities fell on deaf ears.
None of them - with the exception of the Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) - had the courtesy to reply why my complaints couldn’t be attended to or why action couldn’t be taken.
The Public Complaints Bureau could not take any action but treated my case as a ‘consumer affairs’ complaint and they will arranging a meeting amongst all the parties concerned. But my case is about loss of property including the fact that I almost lost my daughter.
PCB therefore shouldn't ignore the issue and use terms like ‘surprise visits’, ‘field observations’, ‘interviews’ and ‘joint discussions’ between the agencies and the complainant. PCB itself, apparently, does not have the power or authority to instruct the relevant authorities and agencies to investigate or take action on complaints against them.
My complaints have also been sent to the ministers yet none of them replied or took any action. Hopefully, Malaysia isn't a country about ‘who you know’ before action can be taken.
So, please tell why I shouldn’t have reservations about the ‘1Malaysia People First’ policy. I pray to God for action and justice for my family.
